The Close - Lemon Rice
This fragrant rice is great to serve with your curry night.

Ingredients
For the lemon rice

Rapeseed oil 100 ml

Onions 250 g

Turmeric 5 g

Water 1600 ml

Basmati rice 750 g

Lemon juice 80 ml

Coriander 30 g
Preparation

For the lemon rice
- Heat the oil in a suitable pan and add KNORR Pataks Korma Paste and 100ml of water.
- Cook for 2 minutes then add the diced onions and continue to cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Pour in the remaining water and bring to the boil.
- Add the rice, turmeric and lemon juice and bring back to the boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer then cook for 10 minutes or until 60% of the water has evaporated.
- Cover and remove from the heat then leave to continue steaming for 15 minutes.. Uncover and stir through the chopped coriander.
