Advance Preparation
Place the bread into a suitable bowl, cover with a little water and set aside for 10mins then squeeze out
any excess water. Set aside until required. Mix 50g horseradish with the mayonnaise, cover, label,
refrigerate until required. Pre heat bbq or grill pan.
Method
1. Place the mince, 200g horseradish, onion, breadcrumbs into a suitable mixing bowl. Mix well.
2. Shape the burger mix into 10 patties, cover, label, refrigerate for 20mins.
3. Rub each burger with a little oil then place on to the grill. Cook for 5-6mins on each side or until
thoroughly cooked.
4. Split the burger buns in half, spread the mayonnaise on the bottom halve then top with the tomato
and lettuce.
5. Sit the burger on top of the salad and serve.
Serve with seasonal vegetables.
Healthy Nutritional Advice
Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum. If using oil use unsaturated (olive or
sunflower) and reduce the quantity used where possible. This helps to provide a nutritional balanced
dish.
