Advanced Preparation.
Prepare ingredients as above, warm the serving plates.
Method
1. Make up the bouillon as per manufacturers instructions using 25g of paste to 1 litre of boiling water.
2. Place the bulgar wheat in a suitable bowl and stir in the prepared bouillon. Leave to stand for 1.5hrs, drain and squeeze excess moisture from wheat, as requied.
3. Place wheat into a bowl and add the olive oil, lemon juice and Colman’s Mint Sauce. Mix well and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
4. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
5. Serve.
Service Hint
Serve with hot pitta breads.
Handy Hint
Any of the KNORR Pureed Herbs and Spices can be added along with the Colman’s Mint sauce to add extra flavour and seasoning.
Healthy Hint
Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum . If using oil use unsaturated (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used where possible. This helps to provide a nutritional balanced dish.
