250gPancetta or Lardons of Bacon
50gKNORR Garlic
  Grated Pecorino
  Basil, fresh , chopped

Preparation

1. Cook the pasta as directed on pack.
2. Drain very well toss in a little oil and keep warm.
3. Fry off the pancetta or bacon with the garlic paste.
4. Add in the Arribbiata Sauce and bring to the boil.
5. Add in the pasta with the chopped basil.
6. Serve with grated Pecorino Romano.

Remark

The chilli in this sauce is what gives this dish its name: ‘angry sauce’. Recipes including chillies are generally from the South: The diavolli (tiny red chillies) that go into so many Southern Italian dishes are grown in the Abruzzo region.
