Creamy Mashed Potatoes

1.5kgPotatoes , peeled and evenly cut
150gFlora Buttery Spread 2kg
75mlMeadowland Double – the benefits of double cream without the disadvantages 
10gKNORR PROFESSIONAL Pureed Herbs Mixed Peppercorn 

Preparation

Advance preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut into even sizes.


Method
1. Place potatoes in to a pan (no salt), cover with cold water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer until cooked, drain and dry over a low heat.
2. Mash as appropriate and mix/whisk in the buttery, warmed cream and season with ground mixed peppercorn puree.
3. Use as appropriate.

Service hint.
Serve as appropriate.

Handy hints
The potatoes can be steamed and if seasoning is required add a little vegetable bouillon to the water.

Healthy hint
For a healthier mash use skimmed milk.. Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum . If using oil use unsaturated (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used where possible. This helps to provide a nutritional balanced dish.
