Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Preparation
Advance preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut into even sizes.
Method
1. Place potatoes in to a pan (no salt), cover with cold water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer until cooked, drain and dry over a low heat.
2. Mash as appropriate and mix/whisk in the buttery, warmed cream and season with ground mixed peppercorn puree.
3. Use as appropriate.

Handy hints
The potatoes can be steamed and if seasoning is required add a little vegetable bouillon to the water.
Healthy hint
For a healthier mash use skimmed milk.. Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum . If using oil use unsaturated (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used where possible. This helps to provide a nutritional balanced dish.
